Well, a simulated scam.
Clicking a scam link, regardless if you input any information, can put you at risk. Scam websites collect information from your cache: data your browser stores to help regularly visited websites load quickly. Before clicking any link, button, or redirect in an email, ask yourself:
Is this type of email, document, or link coming from someone I know? If no, forward the email to IT.
Was I expecting this email or shared document? If no, ask the person if the document is meant for you via text, call, or chat.
Is this link safe? If no, report the email to IT and do not click anything. See the difference between safe and unsafe links below:
The domain (main website) is Google, specifically docs.google.com, which is expected for a Google Doc or Google Sheet.
The end of the link is a random string of characters, which may seem odd, but that is common for google docs.
The domain is not recognizable and ends in .dev, which is not a common domain.
Anyone can be victimized by a scam. Stay vigilant and always report potential scams.
